Chromicolor

Chromicolor® ink creates color change directly on a product's surface. Imagine your logo changing color when a beverage reaches just the right temperature, now that's cool. Or a product's temperature indicator goes from blue to red to let you know the heat is on. That's a hot idea. Or a shirt that changes color with the touch of a hand. Now that's so hot, it's cool.

Chromicolor® ink can give a product the capability to reveal a hidden message. And don't tell anyone, but Chromicolor® ink is even being used in the security industry. We'd tell you more, but it's top secret.

The applications for color change are never ending, ranging from the fanciful to the functional. And with vision and imagination, you'll find there's a rainbow of bright ideas yet to be explored.

How to create a Smoke Bomb

I was totally inspired by 'The Smoke Drawing Workshop' during last thursday class, and somehow Ninja often carry some smoke bombs, here is a description on how to create a smoke bomb. (Pictures from The Smoke Drawing Workshop will post in few days, be patient...)

Simple Smoke Bomb (Warning: Please keep out of children.)

Materials:
Saltpeter (Drug Store)
Sugar
Stove
Nonflamable Pot or Pan

1. Mix equal parts of the sugar and saltpeter together
2. Pour into your NONFLAMABLE pot or pan.
3. Turn on stove with the pot full of mixture(low flame)
4. Make sure to stir constantly, after a while of cooking it will begin to turn into a liquid gum sorda substance with a light brown or yellowish color. Put in chosen contianer (Medicine Bottle) then put in freezer for about 5 min. After you take it out you can light. Do not get inpatient while cooking it, it will take a while for it to turn into a liquid Also it will take a while to light, just keep the flame on the hard substance until you hear a sizzle then set down.
5. Watch all the damn smoke.

What is a Quick Change?

Quick-change is a performance art in which a performer usually a magician, dancer or ice skater changes quickly within a split second from one costume into another costume in front of the audience. This is usually performed under cover of an object like standing in a hoop of fabrica mylar curtained hoop, behind an unbrella, large feather fans, stage smoke or evena shower of glitter. Choreography and dance are usally combined into the performance to make the act more spectacular.

The art of Quick Change is several hundred years old and reaches back as far as the 15th century. The Japanese kabuki theater started with crude performances by a shrine dancer Akuna in the year 1603, although the use of Quick Change was most probably not added until after 1629 when women were banned from performing kabuki.

Since I am doing reseaches on Ninja, it is good that the quick change trick has a Japanese history background.
